Gareth Barker 6.50pm - 7.50pm Gareth Barker is returning with his lovely Michael Bubble voice. He has been recording his own music and will be sharing these with us for the 20th year of maritime. https://www.facebook.com/@garethbarkermusic/ Burgin, Kerr and Norman 5.55pm - 6.50pm A swampy melting pot of country, folk, americana and blues, they combine a mutual love of story-telling and rhythmic grooves with narratives about the human experience. They perform predominantly original material, with contributions from each member, calling on a wide range of instrumentation including piano, acoustic and Weissenborn guitars, accordion, bodhran, and percussion. Irishman Andrew Kerr (ex. Jacky Tar) and Alan Norman (The Warratahs, The Rag Poets) are joined by Paddy Burgin (The Wooden Box Band, The Zimmermans), and his magical guitars. Paddy, a world-renowned luthier, was a member of The Scarborough Connection, who featured on Andrew and Alan’s critically acclaimed 2023 release ‘For the Record.’ “…..one of the year’s best albums in Americana/folk….a thoughtful, passionate, and musically rich collection that holds up under repeated listens….” Anne Hollister www.theindiesource.com 'For The Record' SPOTIFY ALBUM LINK: https://open.spotify.com/album/5g24JDeh3kSAKKLR1kf3A9?si=jz5n4PePQti-BzKG_Stg6A Live clips https://www.facebook.com/100089535828548/videos/pcb.534814069513116/1604046047163105 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRHOXgbYuu0 |
